Interesting Perspective: Obi Wan His Luke Not From Darth Vader & the Empire, But From the Rebellion

In this clever article, it is argued that, in fact, Obi Wan hid Luke not so much from the clutches of the Empire, but from the Rebellion. 

Of course, this goes against not only our general perceptions of what the Star Wars universe was all about and how things ran there, but also counter to our own sense of logic. 

Do you agree or disagree? Is there an argument to be made that "Ben" Obi Wan Kenobi hid Luke Skywalker from the Rebellion, which he seemed to want Luke to join at some points, to make the most use of his skills?
