The Most Polarizing Presidents in American History

I ran into this CBS link a while ago. And while I do not recommend clicking on the link (even if I added the link below) because it feels more like click baiting than substantive news or political discussion, I am fairly certain that Donald Trump ranked very high on the list. Perhaps it is just my computer, but it seems to have so many advertisements, that you keep having to wait for it to load up.

As for the other link by Business Insider, that was a lot more reasonable, and is easy to read and see. In that one, Trump tops the list.

There is a recognition that some Trump supporters will typically see this as yet more "liberal" or "media" elites picking on Trump, I personally do not care. Trump was, by far, the most arrogant, obnoxious, untrustworthy man to hold high office here in the United States in my lifetime, and quite possibly, in all of American history. He richly deserves to top any list of the most polarizing and/or worst presidents in American history.

Now, I was not a big fan of President Obama, and thought him greatly overrated. Ditto with Joe Biden, who is in the White House as I write this. Just for the record, I am no fan of the Clintons, either.  Frankly, I think that there were all, at best, mediocre American presidents who reflected the worst excesses of modern America, rather than soaring above them or making headway to fixing them. However, those guys look incredibly classy and trustworthy and capable by virtue of the pathetic excuse for a president who was sandwiched in between them. This is particularly true of the four years in between Obama and Biden, although certainly, George W. Bush was also very mediocre and, frankly, a corrupt leader and war criminal.

Yet, Trump was worse, and I would argue, even far worse. It seems that I am hardly alone in thinking this way, and ranking Trump where he so richly longs to be: at the top of a list. Only this list is one that most people would never want to be on.
