A Comprehensive Look at Trump’s Tariff List (More Than 180 countries & Territories)

Just for clarity, it seemed worth sharing this quite comprehensive list of the tariffs - and the alleged justifications for them, according to the Trump White House - which have caused such chaos recently.

Given the state of things at the moment, it seemed we should understand the root cause of all of this.

One side note. I was - and remain - skeptical about Russiagate and all of those overly convenient excuses that Democrats bought into regarding the reason that Trump supposedly won in 2016. Frankly, I still don't buy it. The Democrats lost because they were mediocre, and they collectively bent over backwards to prevent the democratic process from working itself out in order to roll out the red carpet for a very mediocre candidate who was never going to relate to or win the trust of everyday Americans. At a time when they were being angrily accused of being elitists, they failed to refute those charges, and instead reinforced them by paving the way for Hillary to be the official Democratic nominee. And that has nothing to do with Russia.

That said, however, it seems clearer almost every day that there really is something which the Russians hold over Trump. My guess is that they lent him money at his lowest point financially. To put it another way, they offered him a bailout, and he took the money and run. Now, for once in his life, it seems he feels beholden to someone else. And that someone happens to be Russia.

Why do I say this now? Because Russia is one of the very few countries which he did not impose tariffs on. Funny how that works, wouldn't you say?
