I know, I know. There probably have been a few too many posts about Duke Farms just lately.
But here's another one.
Sorry, it's just that it grows more impressive every time that I pay it a visit. The first time was during winter, so there was the knowledge that it would surely look particularly spectacular once the spring came.
Then spring came. But I guess I never really noticed just how unevenly the different kinds of blossoms come in at different times. First, it was mostly the white blossoms that seemed to bloom, with the pink ones showing just a trace.
On my next visit, last week, the white blossoms were fading, but the pink ones were in full bloom. And my assumption was that this surely was the maximum color and beauty of this place.
But a couple of days ago on yet another visit, I saw that this was not the case. The Japanese Maples were out. There had really been no trace of their color on any of the previous visits.
Now this, surely, feels like the Meditation Garden was in full color.
