Some alarming news, more than sad news, to share today from the world of music.
Punk musician Jello Biafra suffered a stroke and has been hospitalized.
Certainly not good news. But also not the worst news, which of course would have been death. We have seen far too many great musicians leave this world in recent years. I just found out - and posted a blog entry - about Country Joe MacDonald of Woodstock fame dying. It would have been awful to say goodbye to Jello Biafra at this point in time.
It happened last night, while Biafra was getting up (to go to the bathroom, I think) and felt one whole side of his body not responding properly. So he was rushed to the hospital.
But he made it. Already, he has posted on social media, so it seems like he should be okay, more or less.
Still, scary stuff.
