It kind of blew my mind that Trump asked for help with the war in Oran from the same countries which he made such a point of insulting as recently as just a few weeks ago.
The gall. But also, the cluelessness.
Do you think the United States would willingly help...say, Ukraine, if Zelensky had mocked the United States the way Trump mocked European nations? Or perhaps help Israel if "Bibi" had mocked Trump, or the United States?
Frankly, I doubt it.
Yet there's Trump, insisting that mostly European allies should be willing to get themselves involved in a conflict in the Middle East in a war which Trump started, and which they had no part in?
So I saw this post in Facebook, making this situation seem like a saying from Confucius.
It struck me as funny, and seemed worth posting here.
