Just thought I would add a little bit more on the "No Kings" protest from last weekend.
Below are some headlines and pictures from a couple of newspapers from the day after the protests. Surprisingly (or maybe it's not all that surprising these days), these were the only two newspapers in which had coverage and pictures from the "No Kings" protest on the front page.
Then below that is a link which my mother shared from the protest in her town of Hornell, in western New York. It is a small town, and there are pro-Trump and MAGA flags there everywhere you look. A typical rural red town, in other words.
And yet, something like 250 people turned out for the anti-Trump "No Kings" rally, which was really encouraging to hear. That included both my mom and my brother, both of whom participated in the protest. My work schedule did not allow me to be a part of it, but I was proud of them for having participated in this.
