Trump Blasts Pope & Posts Jesus-Like Portrait of Himself as Healer

When news like this comes in these days, I can hardly even claim to be surprised. This guy posts such ridiculous nonsense so often, that you almost grow numb to it. Frankly, it is difficult not to.

That said, however, it never ceases to disgust me, seeing things like this. And frankly, to marvel at the blindness and hypocrisy of those among his supporters who claim to be good Christians. If it had been Obama posting this, or Biden, or pretty much anyone else, do you think that they would have gotten away with it?

Yet Donald Trump does this, quite clearly depicting himself as something of a healing Jesus figure, and nobody among Trump's Christian following objects in the slightest? Are you serious?

And the fact that it comes just a week after Trump posted something about destroying a whole civilization  and ending the post with "Praise be to Allah!" on Easter Sunday is not lost on me.

As I mentioned last week, this guy is insane. Indeed, he seems literally evil to me, but now I have to also consider that his level of insanity is actually off the charts, as well.

Does he believe this of himself?

Plus, he insulted the Pope. From what I can tell, this crybaby who was whining about not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize objected to the Pope's criticism of Trump's war. Trump seemed to say that the Pope was not MAGA enough for him.

Yet, it does not seem to be hurting him all that much against Christians, at least not so far as I can tell. At the very least, I would have thought that posting a promise to end a civilization tonight and then following that up with "Praise be to Allah!" on Easter Sunday, followed by this absurd painting of himself as a healer in the mode of Jesus on Orthodox Easter, would have caused them some hesitation to continue to support him.

Instead? Crickets.

Absolutely ridiculous.
