Ran into this earlier today, and found it moving.
Still don't think it's going to happen. Nobody is as stubborn as loyal Trump supporters are. They remain loyal and at least outwardly still believe in the man when he has proven, time and time again, to be completely inept and unfit for office.
Nevertheless, whether or not we ever actually see an apology, it seemed to me that this would be worth sharing. John Pavlovitz has been a constant source of reason and rationalism during these insane times. And this feels like it smacks of the truth. It might be more the domain of images of poetic justice rather than reflective of what actually will happen. However, it seemed to me worth sharing anyway.
