Same Spot

Earlier today, I took the following pictures by the same lake as the ones I took a picture of and published yesterday. I even was there at about the same time, around a quarter or so to seven in the morning.

Such a difference 24 hours makes. It looks and feels like an entirely different lake, or different place, does it not?

It fascinated me, that there are so many differences. Yesterday, the sun was shining so brightly into the lens, that it felt like it might have been the middle of summer. But these pictures, which come out gray and reveal the shapes of trees still bare of the leaves yet, look like they might have been taken in the middle of the winter.
