Unforgiving Memes Tear Brock Osweiler & Other Bad Producers in the NFL

Following the embarrassment of Osweiler and the Houston Texans at the hands of the Denver Broncos last night, there were a ton of memes that mercilessly picked on the poor guy.

Well, when you get a $72 million contract, I guess you are not poor. And when you think you are worth that much, and then produce the kinds of numbers and overall play that he has to this point, you start to feel less bad for him. After all, he is killing it financially. Just not on the field.

One of the memes declared him to be the first quarterback to ever throw a fumble, after the bizarre play when the ball slipped from his grip and moved forward, recovered by the Broncos. Another suggested that a local Houston man got away with stealing $72 million.

One also showed a picture of the Cleveland Browns with the Caption, "The Walking Dead."

Get it?

Yes, despite the enormous success for the other two major Cleveland (or Believeland) sports franchises, the Browns are restoring order by remaining horrendous this year, as the only remaining winless team got hammered yet again this past weekend.

Another one featuring the Browns had a bunch of pictures of famous men with the name Owen, and at the end, had a picture of the Browns helmet, with the words "Owen Seven" underneath.

Get it? Because they are 0-7 on the season.

Right.

Anyway, there were a few ones with pictures from 'The Walking Dead' finale, as well as some others which were quite humorous, regarding all of the missed field goals, and the generally sloppy and lifeless play of the thrilling 6-6 overtime tie between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks this past Sunday night.

There was even one criticizing the Carolina Panthers, showing a score of the 1-6 Panthers losing to the bye week, 31-14.

Still think that the the one with the bye week defeating the Browns was much funnier, but only because the Cleveland fans had mastered the art of humor in defeat and self-deprication. The Panthers are still getting used to all of the losing this season.

Check some of these memes out, because some really are funny (though others are just stupid):

Harsh memes shred Brock Osweiler, Texans By Matt Young, October 25, 2016:

NFL Week 7 Review

TNF - Green Bay 26, Chicago 10 - This one was pretty much par for the course, was it not? A game between the Packers and the Bears will likely go Green Bay's way, especially up at Lambeau. Even when Aaron Rodgers is not playing quite on the elite level that he has played for many years now (although he still is playing quite well compared to most other quarterbacks), you just kind of figure that the Bears are going to get beaten down. That is especially true when Chicago has been as bad as it has been this season in particular. Not much to elaborate on here, right? Moving on...

NY Giants 17, Los Angeles Rams 10 - The Giants managed to defeat the Rams on the road in London, which means that they are 2-0 throughout their history in these games at Wembley Stadium. The last time that they won there, it was against the Dolphins, and the Giants went on to win one of the most memorable Super Bowls ever that season. Not sure that this team is capable of something like that, although this was a good and much needed win that keeps the G-Men in the race in the NFC East, at least, despite officially being in sole possession of last place still. As for the Rams, a third straight loss now puts them in serious trouble, and they desperately need a win very soon, being in the tough NFC West.

Kansas City 27, New Orleans 21 - Another game that pretty much went according to script. Kansas City is the better team entering this game against the Saints, and despite New Orleans hanging tough, the Chiefs wound up winning it in the end. Much as everyone expected, for the most part, as KC look to stay on pace with the Raiders and the Broncos in the AFC West, while the Saints are desperately clinging and trying not to drown in too many losses this early in the season. KC's victory here was what most would have expected. Next...

Philadelphia 21, Minnesota 10 - Well, that didn't last long! No teams managed to reach 6-0 this season, as the last remaining unbeaten team in the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings, fell to Philly. The Vikings still have a solid defense, although it did not look quite as dominant in this game (a loss) as it had to this point, when they were piling up wins. The Eagles ended their two game losing streak to pull off probably their biggest win of the season to date, and to jump back ahead of Washingon in the NFC East race, and to keep within striking distance of the 'Boys.

Detroit 20, Washington 17 - Another fairly big winning streak comes crashing to an end, as the Detroit Lions suddenly look like a serious team themselves. Yes, Washington had a solid four game winning streak entering this one, but it ended in the Motor City. The Lions needed a tremendous comeback in order to do it, as the offense orchestrated a six play, 75 yard drive in less than a minute to pull this one off. Alquan Boldin caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford with just 16 seconds left in the game to pull off the huge, come from behind win. Both teams walk away from this game with identical 4-3 records.

Miami 28, Buffalo 25 - As I was saying about big winning streaks coming crashing down, Buffalo got beat by Miami, another team that is suddenly coming alive. A week after stunning Pittsburgh, the Dolphins beat the Bills in Miami. Jay Ajayi was especially impressive, pulling off the extremely rare feat of running for over 200 yards in two consecutive games, an accomplishment only done a handful of times before. Ajayi had become the first running back to run for 200 yards in one game against the Steelers, and the very next weekend, he repeated the feat again this past weekend. Only OJ Simpson (twice in 1973 and 1976), Earl Campbell (1980), and Ricky Williams (2002) have managed the feat during the Super Bowl era. That kind of production helped the Dolphins edge the Bills.

Cincinnati 31, Cleveland 17 - Well, the Cavaliers finally ended the sports curse over the city of Cleveland, and the Indians look like they might make this a miraculous, two championship city for 2016. But it's nice to know that some things never change, right? Yes, the Browns continue to lose as always. This time, they got pounded by their cross state rivals, the Bengals, to remain winless at 0-7. Next up for the Brownies will be the New York Jets, who just ended their massive losing streak, and will try to pull off a second win in a row in Cleveland. As for the Bengals, a solid win that helps put them back in striking position in the AFC North, particularly after the recent struggles of both the Ravens and the Steelers.

Oakland 33, Jacksonville 16 - The Raiders got back on track, taking care of business with a convincing win in Jacksonville. Oakland really took over the game in the second quarter, and then essentially held the Jaguars off throughout the second half. The win gave Oakland coach Jack Del Rio a victory over his former team, and his team looked solid on both sides of the ball, raising their overall record to 5-2, and in a first place tie with the Super Bowl champion Broncos in the AFC West. In the meanwhile, the Jaguars have dropped three straight, and are now 2-4 on the year, and rumors have begun to swirl regarding coach Gus Bradley's future.

NY Jets 24, Baltimore 16 - The Jets finally ended their dreadful losing streak by handing the Ravens their fourth straight loss. New York was efficient on offense, although hardly spectacular. After getting benched and watching Gino Smith start, Ryan Fitzpatrick came off the bench to save the game for New York. The defense was very solid, containing Flacco and the Ravens offense to a pedestrian 16 points overall. For Baltimore, this is another stinging loss in a season that is quickly spiraling out of control, if they are not careful.

San Diego 33, Atlanta 30 - Now, this result was unexpected. Just when you start thinking that the Falcons are for real, with some impressive road wins, and a close loss at Seattle, one of the toughest places to play, the Falcons get knocked off at home by the Chargers. True, San Diego is probably better than their record indicates, but the Falcons finally looked like they were a serious team capable of running away with the NFC South. Instead, this loss more or less lets the Buccaneers right back into the race, and fails to put away the lowly Saints and the surprisingly bad Panthers. For the Chargers, this was a second straight win after a miserable stretch where they found remarkable ways to keep losing games, so this one was a huge win when it was most needed. The Falcons drop to 4-3, while the Chargers raise their record to 3-4, staying alive within the AFC West race.

Tampa Bay 34, San Francisco 17 - Any chance that the 49ers had of making something out of this season, however slim those chances may have been, essentially went out the window with this loss. Tampa Bay fought from behind to win on the road, and in a weak NFC South, they managed to at least stay in the picture. In the meantime, San Francisco dropped their sixth straight game and, right now, are solidly the basement team in a tough division. For the Bucs, however, they get their second straight win, and return back to .500 as midseason approaches, and they find themselves still in position to make a run for the playoffs.

New England 27, Pittsburgh 16 - Okay, so it appears that Brady and the Patriots are back to elite form once again. They had a tough road game against a strong opponent, but it was the same old result, with New England's mastery over Pittsburgh making Steelers fan scratch their heads. The Steelers are an accomplished team, but the one thing that they have never done with any degree of consistency is beat the Patriots during the Belichik-Brady era. This was a big showdown, and it did not go any better for the Steelers today, either. Brady stayed hot, completing 19 of 26 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns, while LaGarrette Blount ran for 127 yards, as the New England offense pulled away to secure a tough road win, moving their record up to 6-1, and opening up a two game lead on the Buffalo Bills, who lost to Miami this past weekend. As for the Steelers, this is their second straight loss, and they urgently need a win to stop the bleeding.

(SNF) Arizona 6, Seattle 6 (Final/OT) - A tie is a rarity in the NFL, with usually, at most, one tie per season (if that). Well, this may be the only one we see this season, although it is not perhaps that surprising that it happened between these two teams. The Cardinals simply could not afford to lose this game, while the Seahawks wanted to come away with a big lead in the NFC West. Nobody won, but nobody lost, either, and what this game establishes now is that the Seahawks are the best in the NFC West, while the Cardinals are the second place team, now outright ahead of the Los Angeles Rams. This was a slow, defensive slug fest.

MNF - Denver 24, Houston 9 - Rather predictably, the Texans got dominated in Denver. They were fighting for a while, there, holding a 6-0 lead until well into the second quarter. Eventually, however, the Broncos offense got in gear, and the Texans just could not keep up. This was particularly true of their offense, and Brock Osweiler had a particularly bad day.  He completed 22 of 41 passes for just 131 yards, with no touchdowns and no interceptions. If there was anyone in the Denver area who felt bad about letting Osweiler go to Houston for $71 million, it is safe to assume that they are feeling a whole lot better about that now. Denver obviously wanted to win this game and, in particular, wanted some revenge against their former quarterback. However, this was just a humiliation. The Texans may be the best in the AFC South, but that is only because that division is so bad. They are not likely going anywhere anytime soon. As for Denver, what a huge victory, particularly for their suffocating defense. The Broncos end a two-game losing streak and move their overall record to 5-2 and, for now, are back alone atop the AFC West division.

'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Premiere Reveals Surprise in Wrath of Negan

Having never actually read 'The Walking Dead' comic book, I never got all that familiar with the events that transpire there, although like everyone else, I had heard some talk from people who did about characters and events who were coming.

I hear about Negan maybe a year or two before he actually began to make his appearance, and heard about Glen's death through a beating from a baseball bat, and in front of a pregnant Maggie, to boot.

However, in their infinite wisdom, the producers of 'The Walking Dead' decided to keep the victim a secret for roughly half a year, which angered fans tremendously. I myself was one of them, seeing little sense in keeping this whole thing a secret. Why do that? What sense does it make to keep the thing a secret? With all of the gimmicks and tricks that got quite a few fans up in arms last year, and had many people swearing off the series forever (whether they meant it or not is another story), why end an entire season in such a controversial manner?

Well, after months of waiting, we finally got our answers in the season 7 premiere and, I must say, it does make a bit more sense now, why they chose to wait. Still think that they did not need to do that, and could have packaged this whole thing in such a way as to make the results equally shocking for both the season 6 finale and season 7 premiere.

Let's talk a bit more about that but, before we do, let me just give anyone who wants to watch the episode, but has not done so yet, a chance to walk away before reading any spoilers here.

********************SPOILER ALERT!!!********************

Can I assume now that whoever does not want the spoiler has walked away, so that any surprises will be left for watching the show itself?

This is your last chance!

Okay, do not say that you were not warned.

Right. So, the producers left not one victim, but two victims to ponder. And the entire show was basically to produce just the right circumstances for Negan to break Rick down, to take away any hope or sense of power or pride that he might yet have, and to make sure that the viewer saw that the group was entirely powerless and defeated for the first time.

One of the things that a fan who had actually read the comics told me was that most people thought that Negan was even worse than the Governor. He himself did not think so, and claimed that the Governor was way worse. He may have been, although Negan's ability to organize his people and produce the right circumstances for his total control over them, and to force this usually very strong and independent group to go down on their knees, literally, and to break them to his will, has to be taken into consideration. That was something that the Governor only wished he could have done, but never actually managed to do.

Negan established himself almost right away as a villain to be dealt with, by killing off not just one victim, but two.

Indeed, the one picked after his game of "eenie meenie miney mo" was, indeed, Abraham.

And like many other fans, my initial reaction was one of disappointment. It's not that I did not like Abraham, or anything. In fact, like many other fans, his unusual sayings and strong persona had made him likable. It was just that he was a bit too new to have really gotten into his character. He was only beginning to open up, to reveal himself on a deeper level, last season. And really, he was so new, that he only had last season to work with.

So, when he went down, the initial reaction on my end was to think that they had, indeed, blown it.

Still, from Negan's perspective, it made sense to choose Abraham, which probably was not so random after all. Abraham was the only one in the group who looked unafraid, who was staring Negan in the face and showing no fear, and no backing down. He, like the rest of the group, was on his knees, although he almost stood taller while doing so, volunteering himself. Plus, he was physically bigger and stronger than Negan, which would probably feel like a threat. So, on that score, it made sense to eliminate Abraham.

But I also suspected that there was more. Had to be more.

And indeed, there was more.

Right after killing Abraham, Daryl jumps up and attacks Negan, and then is quickly restrained and put back on his knees.

At that moment, it seemed entirely plausible that Negan was going to kill Daryl.

That is not the direction that the writers chose, however. Negan reiterated how he was going to "break that shit" down right away, that kind of revolt. And so he did, but not by killing Daryl. Rather, he did so by taking the bat to Glen, and following the comic line (Issue number 100).

Glen took the beating, but before death, he got back up on his knees and, looking towards Maggie, said that he would find her. He said a bunch of other stuff, as well, which was mostly incoherent. The makeup people did an incredible job in making Glen look like he had just taken a beating, and Negan commented on how gross he looked, establishing his credentials still more as a villain, before finishing Glen off with Lucille, claiming that she was a vampire thirsting for blood.

So, there were two victims, and not just one! That made sense, and in terms of the death of a mysterious character being the end of one story, and these two deaths, and the other mental mastery that Negan imposed over the group during this episode, you do get the sense that this was another story. In 'The Talking Dead' episode that aired right after the show, and which was filmed live in a Los Angeles cemetery and featured almost the entire cast of TWD, it was mentioned that this was such a huge event, that it creates a before and after scenario. There was life for the group before Negan, and life after.

Still, Rick's words to Negan right after the two killings was that he was going to kill him. Not today, not tomorrow, but eventually. This prompted Negan to drag Rick off, take him for a ride, and force him to retrieve his ax outside of the truck, while being surrounded by zombies, of course.

Yet even after this, Rick still was looking at Negan with a look that the new villain did not particularly like, so he forced his hand and finally broke Rick by taking his son and drawing a line on his arm, then ordering Rick to chop off that arm with the same ax.

At that point, finally, Rick seemed to have his fighting spirit sucked out of him.

Negan was satisfied that the lesson was learned, that the group was his, and that he had won.

Essentially, Negan's group walks off right then, leaving the group their first real moment to process what had happened.

Maggie was the first one up, and said that they needed to fight Negan. She was the only one to express that kind of a sentiment.

In the sneak previews of the next episode, we hear Rick basically laying down his leadership, and claiming that Negan is the new leader now.

Hmmm...intriguing, although we know that there will surely be much more to it than that!

Let's stay tuned to see what happens next!

Cubs Finally Go to the World Series After a 70+ Year Absence

Yes, the Chicago Cubs won the National League Pennant last night, defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers, 5-0, to take the series, four games to two.

This was a huge thing, because of there is one ball club in North American sports that can truly be said to have been cursed, it is the Chicago Cubs. This is a team that seemed to find all sorts of ways not to win, not to succeed, and thus, they have not won a championship in over one hundred year! That is far and away the longest drought of any professional major sports franchise in any sport, and they had not even qualified for the World Series dating back to 1945, until they finally managed to achieve that last night.

How much has the world changed since the last time that the Cubs were there?

Let's take a look:

- World War II had just ended earlier that year.

- Credit cards did not exist. Neither did satellites or microwaves! Super glue and color television were not yet a thing, either.

- Pacemakers did not exist yet. Bar codes had yet to be invented, and neither Alaska nor Hawaii were stated yet. International air travel was not yet something that was available, and it would not be affordable to most people for quite a long time thereafter, either.

- Barbie dolls and Mr. Potato Head were not yet toys, and velcro had yet to be invented. Hula hoops would be invented not long afterwards but, as of when the Cubs last made it to the World Series, had not yet been introduced to the world.

- Los Angeles Dodgers did not exist.

All of that was just from the last time that the Chicago Cubs made it to the World Series! Now, the last time that they won the World Series?

Remember, that was all the way back in 1908, well over a century ago. And if you think things were different in the world the last time that the Cubs simply made it to the World Series, the world was seemingly impossibly different when they won the World Series.

You have to rake back yet more things that cover over the particular ground:

 - Neither of the World Wars had been fought yet! The Great Depression had not happened yet, nor the economic recovery from the mixture of preparing for war, as well as putting people to work, through FDR's New Deal. No, none of that had taken place yet.

- Only one of the presidents since JFK (that being his Vice-President and eventual successor, Lyndon B. Johnson) had even been born as of yet.

 - Arizona and New Mexico were still territories, and not yet states.

- Prohibition had not yet happened, let alone the end of the Prohibition.

- The Titanic had not yet sunk off the North Atlantic coast. Sorry, Leonardo and Kate, but nothing to make the huge blockbuster motion picture, yet.

 - Silent films were still all the rage, although they were still working on how to add sound to it. Some people did not think that the two things went hand in hand, and felt that adding sound would not actually catch on (they were wrong about that).

 - Cars were not very common, and most people had barely ever seen one before.

 - No one had managed to fly any serious amount of time yet. The first flight over the Atlantic Ocean, by Charles Lindbergh, was still almost a couple of decades to come yet.

Pretty amazing, huh? A lot has changed in the world since then, although let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet, because the Cubs have not won the World Series yet. They are as close as they have gotten in over seven decades, however, and I think it is fair to say that most people would want to see them win. I know I do!

So, let's go Cubs, and let's see if they can finally, FINALLY end this drought, and bring their fans their first ever World Series title in their lifetimes!

Political Map Showing What the Electoral Map Would Look Like If Only Certain Groups Voted

Ran into this earlier.

These are a series of illustrations that show what the electoral map would look like if only certain groups could vote - including minorities, women, white people, white people with and without a college education, white men, and white men with a college education.

This is kind of telling, and reveals just how we are divided in the United States. It does not, however, explain why we are so divided, and apparently, perhaps primarily based upon race.

And to think that I knew a few people (white men, if that says something) who outright suggested that racism could no longer be said to be a problem anymore following Barack Obama's election in 2008.

Wrong!

Take a look for yourself:

Being Thankful # 9...

Every now and then, something will happen that makes you think about what is most important in life, and to make sure to appreciate it that much more.

Such an occurrence happened recently to me, and it involved my son.

You see, I have him over the weekends usually, but I also go up north, where he lives, to spend the afternoon and evening with him at least a couple of times each week, unless my work week has been unusually loaded and/or if other circumstances, such as weather, do not allow it. On such weekdays, I will meet him at the apartment where he lives. Up until this year, I would go to his bus stop, right at the entrance of the apartment complex. But upon seeing that I was the only parent there, as my son just graduated from pure elementary school to technically, a middle school (even though he is only a fifth grader, that is when the kids in this particular town go over to the middle school and, it should be noted, lose their recess in the process - something which seems both unfair and absurd, as they are too young not to need that time to release their energy and stir their creative juices).

In any case, indeed, when I noticed that he was the only kid on the bus with a parent waiting for him, I asked if maybe he wanted me to wait for him down by the apartment itself, so that he could walk the length of the parking lot on his own. Perhaps he would be able to be seen as cooler or more independent that way. Just seemed like a good idea. He seemed almost indifferent to the idea, simply shrugging and kind of saying, "Okay, whatever." He also said that he was not embarrassed by me walking him when I asked him. Still, it seemed like something to try.

So, we tried it. And it seemed to work without incident.

At least until mid to late October.

It was a normal day, for the most part. It was a warmer day than usual for the season, although it was not absurdly warm, like it had been for several days prior, when it outright felt like summer again, with temperatures in the high 80's - highly unusual for this time of the year. We might get some Indian Summer days, but usually, it is not quite that hot.

I was coming up from my own town further south, and decided to go for a hike, as there are a lot of woods, and some decent trails, along the way. It was a nice day for it, and the cooler weather made hiking circumstances almost ideal.

Afterwards, I cleaned up the car a little, and then it was time for me to go, to meet him again at the apartment complex after school, because we had to meet my mom and take her to the garage, where her car had been worked on and fixed. We had to be there by 5pm, because that was when they closed. My son usually comes home by around 3:40 to 3:45, and my parents live perhaps ten to fifteen minutes away, with the garage being an additional ten to fifteen minutes after that. We could and should easily be able to get it done, in other words.

So, I got to the apartment right around the time that his bus usually gets there. Pulled it and went inside to go to the bathroom, as I needed to go. He was not there, but that was not really a bit surprise. I went outside and waited.

And waited.

And waited.

I had called up my mom not long before to tell her I was there, and that we would indeed go up to the garage once my son was here. But now, I had to call her again, and explained what was happening, and that it seemed we were going to be a bit later than usual.

He was nowhere to be found. I went back and forth between the apartment and the bus stop. At some point, I even searched the apartment, calling out his name, just in case he was playing some kind of a joke. Started driving around the parking lot, asking people if they had seen him. Nobody had. Then I tried to call the school, and then his mother. Nobody answered in either case. I texted his mother, just in case she had, for some reason, picked him up without mentioning it to me. Since she normally works on those days (it was a Thursday), this seemed highly unlikely, although not impossible, either.

It was starting to get really worrisome, nerve-racking. What should I do now? I ventured to the edges of the woods surrounding the apartment complex, just in case he was there, for some reason, and the thought, more like a question, rose in my head: at what point should I maybe call the cops?

That seemed like a serious step, one that I should hold off on until it really started to reach the level of emergency, but the thought did occur to me.

So, I kept driving and walking around, kept going back in the apartment and searching, just in case, somehow, he had slipped by me and gone there. I walked around the parking lot, shouting out his name, but all for naught.

Finally, at around 4:27pm, I got a call from someone at the school. He said that he had tried to call his mom, but that she had not answered. Most likely, it was her old number, because she had recently switched phones and, with it, numbers. When he called me, I answered right away. He explained that my son was there, and had missed the bus.

Wow! What a relief!

It should go without saying that I went straight there to pick him up. He was sitting with a couple of girls, who were also there for some unknown reason. When I asked him what had happened, he said that his locker had gotten stuck, and that this had become an increasingly serious issue as the school year went on. Earlier in the year, it had opened without a problem. Now, however, it was giving him all sorts of problems.

Naturally, I told him what he should have done and, more importantly, what he needs to do should that happen to him next time. Go to the office and tell them right away, let them know that he was still there, in the school, and had missed his bus. Let one of us, the adults in the family, know as well. Always let us know where he is at all times.

He seemed fairly receptive to that, although he quickly agreed when I mentioned that it was time to perhaps give him a phone. He already had one picked out - the nice, new I-Phone. I told him that a small, prepaid phone would serve nicely, and suddenly, his enthusiasm dampened considerably. He urged me to get a more modern, touchscreen phone with internet access and, presumably, some games that could keep him entertained. I countered that if he had the money for that, then it would be fine, and he laughed.

In any case, we went straight to my mom's place and, indeed, were able to get her to the garage just before it closed, which was a good thing. The car had no problems as she pulled out and went back to the house.

This was an unusual event but, in the end, actually wound up being more of a scare than anything serious, for which I am very thankful!

And it seemed like a good idea to take a few moments to recognize and show appreciation for that, despite the bad scare that it gave me.

Bill Maher Dissects the Popularity of Donald Trump & Explains Why This Could Happen "Only in America"

Bill Maher uses strong language, and I understand that is not for everyone. Sometimes, I think that his language and bluntness can come across so strong as to be a distaction.

Yet, he recently came up with a video explaining why he feels Donald Trump is so popular particularly in the United States. Frankly, I do not believe that he could be especially popular in any other country but the United States, and there are very specific reasons for that, particularly in the land of "American exceptionalism."

Maher draws this conclusion, more or less, and he explains it quite strongly in this thought-provoking video, which I hope you will take a few minutes to watch.

Again, the language is strong, and this may prove to be a distraction and/or a turn off. However, what he says does apply, and I do not even think that this is relegated to Donald Trump, specifically. There is a growing tendency towards immaturity in the United States, and this is particularly true, unfortunately, for many men - and especially many white men. I know a few Donald Trump supporters who have tried to engage me and even, on some level, to convert me. Two of them are men, one of them was a woman (and she was the only one, predictably, who held any serious reservations about Trump and many of the things that he has said or done), and none of them had particularly impressive arguments to make, falling back on the old, knee-jerk reaction thinking that is the flavor of the moment among Trump supporters.

Just in case you do not believe that Trump brings out the worst in his supporters (or that the worst elements within our society tend to latch on to hopes that he will be the savior to bring back the worst excesses of the nation's history during times that were better and seemingly more stable for them, then below are several videos featuring the violent tendencies of Trump crowds:
