2026 NFL Season Week 6 Thursday Night Football Preview: Defending Champion Seahawks Try to Bounce Back From Loss With Showdown at Mile High

Seattle Seahawks (3-2) at Denver Broncos (3-2)

This is another one of those games which is quite tough to predict.

Remember, both of these teams played in their respective Championship Games last season. The Seahawks won and advanced, then won the Super Bowl against the Patriots. But had things gone a little bit differently, they might have faced the Broncos.

Both teams are sporting winning records to this point. Yet, both are trailing undefeated teams in their division. The Seahawks are trying to bounce back from a loss last weekend against the 49ers. Meanwhile, the Broncos lost earlier this season to the Chiefs and are trying to avoid losing still more ground to KC, who remain undefeated.

So this really is a must win for both teams.

I can see it going either way. Seattle still has that grinding defense and a tough, potentially explosive offense. They show up week after week, and you know to expect a solid performance from them. The Broncos are also tough, and that is true especially at home, with the elevation favor.

Again, this could go either way. However, with the advantage of playing at Mile High, I expect the Broncos to just get past the Seahawks in this showdown.

My pick: Denver
