Between Two Ferns
I believe that I have written just a little bit about "Between Two Ferns" in the past. Every now and then, I will check to see if there are any new ones. Well, I did not do that last night, yet this one suddenly popped up as a "You Might Be Interested In..." video. Usually, those go ignored, but upon seeing this available, it was opened quickly.
And it's funny. To be sure, these are interviews that are not entirely new. Certainly, the Tina Fey one has been floating around for some years, although the interviews with Richard Branson and Jon Stewart are not ones that I can recall having seen before.
That said, the funniest elements of this, at least for me, came in the beginning, before the interviews, when there is a spoof of prestigious award shows, and at the end, particularly the bloopers segment. That was what had me rolling on the floor (figuratively, not literally). It is really, really funny!
Admittedly, some of the jokes are a bit stagnant, like the pauses for commercial breaks. It was a bit funny at first, but by the second and especially the third time, it gets old and just does not work. Of course, that is assuming that it is part of the joke, unless they actually needed to pause for some kind of a break, which seems doubtful.
In any case, for a bit of levity, watch this video, and watch it all the way through, especially if you need a bit of a laugh. It is worth it!
