PSG Battles RB Leipzig to a 2-2 Draw in UEFA Match

RB Leipzig - Paris Saint-Germain ( 2-2 )

PSG traveled to Germany to face RB Leipzig two days ago. The team from Leipzig is related to the Red Bulls of New York in the Major League Soccer of North America.

PSG went on the road and managed a tie with RB Leipzig, which can be viewed in two different ways. Of course, it was not a win. Obviously, a win would have been much better, and helped them out in the cause for advancing.

Still, it also was not a loss. That would have hurt their chances.

Ultimately, it was a back and forth game. Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku broke through first in the 8th minute, giving the German crowd something to cheer about.

However, PSG was able to strike back fairly quickly when Georginio Wijnaldum broke through in the 21st minute to tie it up.

He followed that up with yet another goal, this one in the 39th minute, giving the Parisians the lead for the first time in the game.

They held that lead through the duration of the first half, and then throughout the regular time, as well.

However, Leipzig was able to tie the game in the second minute of extra time as Dominik Szoboszlai managed to break with a penalty shot to force the tie.
