The tiny village of Leffond that my brother and I spent so much time in as kids is actually officially a part of a bigger town known as Champlitte.
Naturally, this town became familiar to us, as well. I can remember one year when we went to Champlitte for the fireworks display on the 14th of July.
There is a beautiful chateau, with formal gardens in front of it. Close by is the distinctive looking church. Then, there are some quaint homes and streets with that understandably European look and feel.
By the time that I visited Champlitte, time was beginning to be an issue. So I did not have as much time as I would have liked to get reacquainted with it.
Also, as already mentioned, my internet connection here at my present hotel is limited. So for now, I only could add a few pictures.
That said, I hope to figuratively revisit this town soon with a more complete blog entry with many more pictures included.
For the moment, here are just a few, including the main highlights of Champlitte, which would be the chateau and the church.
Enjoy.
