The Arc de Triomphe on a Soggy Morning in Paris

After going to take pictures at the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower, I figured there was time to visit one more place. Since the Arc de Triomphe is nearby, it made the most sense to go there. 

One surprise: the French flag was in the middle. This was a pleasant surprise to me, because I always wanted to get pictures of it with the flag. 

Now, here was an opportunity. 

Turns out that they put the flag down very quickly. Guess that they were experimenting.
