Yes, PSG won again. This time, they allowed one of their biggest stars, Mbappé, to carry them to the win.
Mbappé scored two goals in the game. They were the only two goals of the game by the two combined teams, for that matter. He scored the first in the 12th minute off of a penalty. Then, he scored again in the 45th minute, giving PSG a 2-0 lead by halftime. They maintained that lead the rest of the way, neither scoring now allowing Monaco to score any goal.
With the win, PSG solidifies their hold on first place in Ligue 1 with 45 points earned after 18 games played. That puts them well ahead of second-place Olympique Marseille, which has 32 after 17 games. Rennes is a close third with 31 points after 18 games played, then Nice with 30 after 18 games played. Finally, Montpelier is in fifth place with 28 points after 18 games played, to round off the top five.
