Overnight, the news broke about former Broncos great wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who died overnight. Thomas was just 33 years old, but died from complications over a medical issue. It is unclear at this time where this medical condition was related to his playing career in the NFL, or separate from that.
Thomas was part of the record setting Broncos offense in 2013, which remains the only offense in NFL history to have scored 600 points in one season, and will now remain the only team to have done so during a 16-game regular season. He played for Denver in two Super Bowls, and won a championship ring when the team won Super Bowl 50.
RIP, Demaryus Thomas.
