Haiti in Serious Unrest As Gang Violence Forces Prime Minister to Flee Country

Haiti is in turmoil at the moment. There i serious gang violence that is threatening to potentially break out into an outright civil war within the country.

This gang violence is highly coordinated, and not just some random violence. It indeed looks as if the country is on the brink of a potential civil war.

There were gang leaders who were trying to force Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry to step down. Reports earlier this morning show that he has indeed left Haiti and is presently in Puerto Rico.

It feels as if Haiti just cannot catch a break. There always seems to be some serious and horrific developments there across the decades.

Let's hope that this latest situation resolves itself for the best in the near future, and that Haiti finally finds something in the way of peace and stability.
