George Brassens is a well-known acoustic guitar musician in France.
Yet, it sometimes - often, even - seems that his actual music came in second place to his lyrics. ⁶
We were heading towards Sete, the small city which he originally came from.
Along the way, we saw a highway rest area which happened to have a little exhibit in his honor.
So despite the rain and slippery, muddy conditions, I wanted to go around and see the exhibit.
It felt like it was worth it, for sure.
