Again, it has been four years since I wrote this article for the Guardian Liberty Voice. Although I am no longer really actively writing with them, I remember enjoying this particular assignment, as it took me back to those historical days in the fall of 1989, and made me feel almost like I was revisiting the city, having gotten the opportunity to visit Berlin for a day in 2013. Here is what I wrote about that article here, which includes a link to the actual article:
This is the first article that I published about the 25th anniversary of the Berlin Wall falling, although it is not so much about the history of Berlin, as it is about the changes that Germany as a country has seen since the fall of the Wall.
I learned some things while researching for this article, and was told by two different editors that it is well written.
