  1. Hey. I hope you guys are having fun down there. Since I can't insert links that work here, I'm going to ask you to please copy and paste this. I'm sure you'll recognize it, and it shouldn't take you more than a second to figure out why it makes sense for me to send it today. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Sc4Pb7d1Nk

    1. That was a cool video. I like his Incredible Hulk version of the Lonely Man walking along a rural roadside at the end. Nashville is actually a pretty cool city. Sebastien and I both really enjoyed it. How are you doing?

  2. For whatever reason, the end of that clip didn't evoke that image for me, even if upon viewing it again I have to agree there's an obvious similarity there. Perhaps that's because David Banner's science experiment gone horribly awry – combined with the resultant emotional fallout and having to spend the rest of his life on the lam, working odd jobs under assumed names – makes him one of the most compelling "tormented soul" archetypes in modern popular culture. Whereas Johnny could feasibly just be contemplating that there's a bit of Tennessee in all of us. And for all we know that bit of Tennessee could simply be Memphis ribs and Jack Daniels wreaking havoc with his innards. But you could very well be right – perhaps he's grappling with demons of his own.

Not much to report here. I'm trying to make things happen so that 2021 ends better than it began for me. Within the next couple months or so, my life will either benefit from an upturn, or, failing that, provide more of the anticlimactic, energy-draining, massive buzzkill, Debbie Downer-esque misadventures which, to use one of your expressions, "cause you to feel your beard growing". Perhaps combined with one of your signature moves – scratching the back of your head with a facial expression that seems to say "Wow..." while avoiding eye contact. Stay tuned!
