Glad you guys made it down to the Sunshine State. I've never been to Pensacola, though I've of course heard of it. If I'm not mistaken, it's in the Florida panhandle, and far enough west that it's actually in the Central Time Zone. If you return to Florida, I definitely recommend checking out St. Augustine, Miami Beach and Key West. (I phrase it that way because that would seem to be a huge detour from your itinerary this year.) Have fun!
I would definitely like to try and visit those parts of Florida someday. But for this trip, I just wanted to at least reach Florida and see one of the beaches, which Sebastien and I did. We also got to see some dolphins up close and in the ocean, which was certainly a new & exciting experience.
