Admittedly, I did not have any humorous posts to publish this weekend.
Guess it just was not on my mind.
However, I did run into this link about the Scooby Doo cartoon series for kids. That was one of my favorite shows growing up in the eighties and seeing those reruns.
That said, I was not aware of all of the fan theories which have persisted over the years. Yes, I knew some people suggested that Vilma was a lesbian, and that Shaggy was a hippie.
However, I did not know that some people felt that this show took place in a post-economic depression country. Or that some people thought that those Scooby Snacks had drug like highs, or that Fred and Shaggy were in a homosexual relationship, or that Scooby himself was only faking being scared while actually solving the cases himself, or that he was supposed to be the product of a Soviet experiment (remember, this was created during the Cold War).
