While we were driving back from the family gathering in Leffond, we briefly stopped in Montbard.
There, they had a statue of Georges Louis Leclerc, the Comte de Buffon.
I cannot say that I know the story of this statue or anything. For that matter, I am admittedly not familiar enough with Buffon to describe in detail his life or works. All I know is that he is from Montbard.
Still, I thought that it looked nice and would make a decent picture.
Also, it seemed worth sharing here.
