France defeated Iraq yesterday, 3-0.
Later that same evening, Norway defeated Senegal, 3-2.
That means that France and Norway will have a showdown which will determine the winner of the group.
It was an unusual match for the French side. At one point, the game was delayed because of severe weather, and the delay was lengthy. So the end of that match actually kept going even after the Norway-Senegal match had begun. Quite unusual for the World Cup to have two games playing literally simultaneously.
France's star Kylian Mbappé scored two goals in the game, raising his total in this World Cup tournament to 4 goals scored. He has scored 16 goals in his World Cup career, which is two behind Argentine Lionel Messi, who has 18 goals in his World Cup career.
