One of Trump's major campaign platforms during the 2024 presidential election was that he would release the Epstein Files. Some people - not just a few of them - voted on him primarily for that, as it had become a hot button issue among many conservatives and MAGA cult members.
Then something happened. Once in office, Trump bent over backwards not to release the Epstein Files. He went so far to try and prevent them from being released, that it began to look suspicious, even to some of his formerly passionate supporters.
However, some people simply altered their excuses for supporting him, instead of altering their views on him or about his conduct. Some of his loyal supporters began to reason that yes, they would continue to support him, even if he was indeed on the Epstein List. Even if he was a proven pedophile, and had raped children.
Absolutely disgusting. Especially since it seems that there may be reason to suspect that he is actually guilty of something horrific.
I mean, come on. Trump was photographed prominently with Epstein, and with very young girls, many times over. There is video of Trump and Epstein partying together at Mar-a-Lago. Trump was interviewed in a major magazine (New Yorker, I believe) published in 2002 in which he heaps praise on Epstein, and says that Epstein loves women almost as much as Trump himself does, although he tends to like them on the younger side. Then there are all those weird comments that Trump has made, about a ten year old who he would be dating a decade later, and those creepy comments about his own daughter. Plus, he and Epstein remained friends for longer than Trump cares to admit.
Does all of that sound like Trump is an innocent man?
Please.
So in light of those developments, I thought that this would be worth posting. A little reminder to Trump supporters (as of mid-July of 2026) what they apparently are supporting at this point.
