Sad news to report today.
The woman known as ‘Rosie the Riveter’ died at 100.
Of course, that was not her real name. Jeanne Gibson is her actual name, but she is most famous for portraying Rosie the Riveter during World War II, in an effort to rally women and others to work and help out in the war effort.
Seems like the last famous people from that whole era are going fast. Not really surprising, but it is sad nonetheless.
Rest In Peace, Jeanne Gibson.
