Earlier today, I posted something about what brought about the beginning of the end of the dominance of grunge/alternative music in the nineties. Now, to shift gears a little bit, here is a link to an article about how the daughters of some towering figures in the so-called grunge scene have blossomed and now themselves constitute a new musical generation.
We all know about Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. But it goes well beyond just her. There is also Toni Cornell and Olivia Vedder, both 18. Coming up on the scene is 16-year old Violet Grohl.
Some interesting stuff, and some names to look out for in the months and years to come. Should be interesting to see how they shape music in the not so distant future!
