As already mentioned there were some unusually major forest fires in eastern Canada, particularly from Québec province. These are events that we are far more used to hearing about in the western portion of North America and other traditionally dry regions of the Earth, like Australia. But we do not often hear about them in the eastern portion of North America, particularly more or less east of the Mississippi River. So this is unusual.
This is just on more chapter in what appears to be a growing book of most unusual and extreme weather events in recent years. And it is a source of concern for many people.
Of course, we cannot always jump to quick conclusions. Still, it is worth wondering about the possibility that this is relate to climate change.
