Some More Pictures From Duke Farms

So I got an oil change and flushed the transmission fluid in my car yesterday. To do that, it seemed like a good idea to wake up early (I work overnights, just in case you don't know) and left my place at 11am. Surprisingly, there were few people there. Sometimes, it is packed even on a weekday at that time. Yesterday, however, there was no wait, and so the work was all done relatively quickly.

With some pare time, it seemed like a good idea to keep a current hot streak going with my walking, and to do so by visiting nearby Duke Farms. Technically, I was in Raritan, and Duke Farms is officially in Hillsborough, which is my home town. However, I have been exploring the other side of Duke Farms, which is closer to Raritan. So after parking the car by the Nevius Street Bridge and the Duke Farms Filter Station (which always reminded me of a castle), I went ahead for another visit, which was the third in perhaps two or so weeks.

Sooner or later, I intend to organize the pictures which I have taken of these recent visits, as well as others over the years, in order to do a comprehensive review of the park itself. The more visits, the better it seems. More and more, I regard this park as a real gem.

Anyway, below are some of the pictures which I took during yesterday's visit.

Enjoy.
