Man, those Chinese just never quit with the Climate Change hoax, eh?
You would think that they might take a break. You know, we get it! Point made. Give it a rest, right?
Yet, they themselves experiences staggeringly hot temperatures late last month. So they are imposing unusually punishing conditions on their own people.
Nor are they stopping there. Apparently, they have now targeted Greenland and Iceland, where a very uncharacteristic heat wave was experienced in those two places. That included a new record hot temperature never seen before in Iceland.
If King Con Don is right, and all of this is merely a Chinese hoax, you have to admit that they really are outdoing themselves, wouldn't you say?
You might almost think that maybe King Con Don didn't know what he was talking about. That this whole climate change thing was real, right?
Nah, can't be. The Chinese surely are behind all of this.
Here are some of the specifics from the heat wave which Greenland and Iceland experienced last month, in what was a very unusually hot month for both:
The Greenland ice sheet melted many times faster than normal during the heat wave, according to the analysis by World Weather Attribution, with at least two communities seeing record temperatures for May. Parts of Iceland saw temperatures more than 10°C (18 °F) above average, and the country set a record for its warmest temperature in May when Egilsstadir Airport hit 26.6°C (79.9 F) on May 15.
That might not seem like a particularly alarming or impressive record hot temperature. But remember, the name of the country is Iceland. And on average, their peak highs tend to be just under 60 degrees Fahrenheit. So yeah, that was quite a jump for them. Not something that they are used to experiencing, to say the least.
Here is something even more alarming, regarding the possible long-term outlook for potential other heat waves to come:
Even in today’s climate, the occurrence of such a strong heat wave in the region is relatively rare, with a 1% chance of occurring in a year, the analysis said. But without human-caused climate change, such an event would be “basically impossible,” said Friederike Otto, associate professor of climate science at Imperial College London, one of the report’s authors.
The extreme heat was 40 times more likely compared to the pre-industrial climate.
Yikes.
Can we get China to pull back on this big practical joke that they are pulling on the entire world, including far away arctic regions yet?
This is scary stuff. At least if you are paying attention.
