Child is Beheaded in Saudi Arabia Based Upon His Religious Beliefs

Some places really feel like they can be hell.

That is how I feel when I hear about Saudi Arabia, for example. This is a country which, until very recently, women were not even allowed to drive or go out by themselves. They still do not have the right to vote, although that may be coming. Who knows?

But a big deal was made of it when Saudi women finally obtained the right to drive. It was supposed to be seen as a mark of progress.

Yet, here is a story about a six-year old child who was beheaded for his religious beliefs in Saudi Arabia. This feels like a story that could only have happened in Saudi Arabia, or in one of the countries that has fallen under the sway of Wahhabism, that puritanical form of Sunni Islam that Saudi Arabia promotes around the world.
