⚽️ ⚽️ Paris Saint-Germain 2, Troyes 0 ⚽️ ⚽️
Ligue 1 play in France has started already, even though I actually had not been keeping up with it yet, at least to this point.
But Paris Saint-Germain, often better known as PSG, have started the new season in hot fashion. As of right now, they have played four games, and sport a 3-0-1 record, which is tied with Nice, Angers, and Stade Renness atop the Ligue 1 standings, each with 9 points. However, PSG gets the nod to top the list, at least for the time being, by virtue of their +8 goal differential.
The next game for PSG will be today, on the 14th of September, when they play Strasbourg.
Troyes doesn't currently play in Ligue 1, but in Ligue 2, which is what the lowest-ranked teams in Ligue 1 are relegated to at the conclusion of a season. I don't believe PSG played them any time recently, unless perhaps it was in the Coupe de France or the Coupe de la Ligue?
ReplyDeleteThey're dominating Ligue 1 this season as expected. When the Champions League resumes, they'll face a far tougher test, since Real Madrid is in their group. Especially since their 1-0 win over Strasbourg (which you told me about earlier) is hardly an impressive or reassuring result. We shall see!
