🏈 NFL 2020 Thursday Night Football Review: Fins Pound Jaguars 🏈

🏈🏈🏈🏈

Miami 31, Jacksonville 13 – Well, this was a surprise. I had expected the Jaguars to win, because they looked like the better team, by my estimation, so far this season. Plus, this game was in Jacksonville, which gave them an extra advantage. But it turns out the Jaguars actually got pounded by Miami. Ryan Fitzpatrick had one of those incredible games that he is capable of producing every now and again, and the Jaguars just had no answers. The Dolphins just found a rhythm offensively, and the Jaguars could not stop them on defense, nor keep up with them on offense, either. Not a good combination. Perhaps I overestimated how good the Jaguars had looked earlier this season, and underestimated the Fins, who are supposed to be an improved team. At the very least, now the pressure of winning that first game is now over for Miami and, in fact, they have plenty of time to rest before their next game, which will be a tough one as they host the Seahawks. As for the Jaguars, this is obviously a very disappointing result, but the season is still young, and they will have an opportunity to recover in their next game when they travel to Cincinnati. That should be a winnable game. But the Dolphins looked very good last night, to their credit. It was the kind of game that many people felt that this improved team was capable of playing. Well done on their part. My prediction: Inaccurate
