Week one is almost in the books. Just two games remaining for Monday Night.
Are you ready for some football?
Below are the previews of both games for later tonight:
Pittsburgh at NY Giants - I would love to say that the Giants should win this game. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely. This is not a very good team by NFL standards, with gaping holes on defense and in their offensive line. Despite some real talent, particularly on offense, the G-Men hardly feel like a complete team. And the Steelers, meanwhile, are almost always at least a contender to qualify for the postseason. They have a potentially explosive offense, solid coaching, and high hopes for the upcoming season. Just does not feel like the Giants can win this one. My pick: Pittsburgh
Tennessee at Denver - The Broncos may be heading in the right direction, with some talent on defense, and the quarterback question quite possibly settled, at least for now. Tennessee, meanwhile, is coming off a surprising playoff run that saw them enjoying a 10-point lead in the AFC Championship Game, before the Kansas City offense really got going. This will likely be a tight, back and forth affair, but in the end, I like the Titans squeaking out a narrow win, despite the thin mountain air of the Mile High City. My pick: Tennessee
