Acadia National Park is a stunning beautiful park of Maine woodland and mountains, next to the old New England charm of Bar Harbor, and the pristine Atlantic Ocean, stretching away to the farthest horizon.
This was one sight, though, that I only barely remember visiting with my parents back during the family trip up here back in the summer of 1989.
We got to visit it this time around, although our visit was admittedly brief. Also, we did not get to hike or truly explore the park as well as we should (and hopefully, someday, will).
What we did manage to do was drive around and stop to take in some truly incredible views while breathing in the fresh, mountain air. Also, we took plenty of really nice pictures.
