PSG, the favorites to win another Ligue 1 championship this season, did not get off to a very good start for the new season. They lost their opener at home to Lens, 1-0, and then followed that up with a 1-0 loss in Marseille.
An 0-0-2 start, which is obviously not good.
However, they are a talented team, and few people would expect them to simply stay bad for very long. And so they bounced back in the past few days, beating Metz, 1-0, on the road, and then blowing out Nice, 3-0, back in Paris.
They are back to even on the season, and should hopefully get things straight again as the year goes along.
It's weird that they lost those two games. Usually, by the time PSG loses its second Ligue 1 game, the second half of the season is already well under way. But they'll recover. They've already begun to, as you pointed out. As for the rest of Ligue 1, I'm happy that Saint-Étienne is off to a hot start, and bummed that Reims is off to a not-so-hot one.
