Pearl Jam’s Long Lost Video for “Even Flow” Suddenly Resurfaces

It has been the better part of thirty years ago since Pearl Jam – then still a new band who had not yet made it really big – made the original video of “Even Flow.” It would shortly be replaced by the better known version, which soon received frequent rotation on MTV, helping to make the band a household name.

For a long time, no one seemed to know what had happened to the original video.

Then suddenly, just like that, without seemingly any warning, the video has been found. I just happened to be perusing through Facebook earlier today, and I ran across this article that was just released today.

Open the page (see link below), and you will find the original video towards the bottom, and it is pretty decent quality.

If you are a Pearl Jam fan at all, or like to reminisce about a very different time musically, this should definitely be of interest. I recommend taking a look, as it is nostalgic of the earliest days of the band, harkening back to a time when “grunge” and the so-called “Seattle sound” were still largely just emerging.
