 Paris Saint-Germain - Olympique Lyonnais ( 4-2 )

PSG looked like they were well on their way to a convincing, dominating win over Lyon at the Parc des Princes in Paris. But then, Lyon suddenly had a run with two goals within a few minutes relatively early in the second half to make it a close game. Suddenly, the outcome no longer seemed certain.

But early on, PSG looked like they were going to walk all over Lyon. Argentine Ángel Di María notched the first goal in the 22nd minute to give PSG the first lead at 1-0.

PSG did respond eventually to secure the win, but they had to work for it, as this one was not handed to them. Then in the 38th minute, superstar Kylian Mbappé got a goal, and the home team was up, 2-0, which they were able to keep for halftime.

Early in the second half, Brazilian Fernando Marçal, a defender for Olympique Lyonnais, accidentally scored an Own Goal, thus giving PSG a comfortable 3-0 lead in the 47th minute, and it looked like the outcome was pretty much a given.

However, Lyon rallied, as Martin Terrier scored in the 52nd minute, followed by another goal in the 59th minute by striker Moussa Dembélé.

Just like that, it was 3-2, and Lyon seemed to have the momentum.              However, the rally, and any real mystery left in the outcome of the game, ended when Edinson Cavani scored for PSG in the 80th minute, giving the home team a commanding 4-2 lead, which they were able to hang onto for the duration of the match.
