2024 NFL Season Opener Review: Chiefs Manage to Hang On At End To Best Ravens

🏈🏈🏈🏈

Kansas City Chiefs27, Baltimore Ravens 20

Last night, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium. This has been an NFL tradition for a few years now, having the defending Super Bowl champs hosting the first game of the new season on the Thursday following Labor Day weekend. This year's game featured the two teams who met in last season's AFC title game.

Not surprisingly, it was a decently close game. The Chiefs had the advantage through most of it, although they never seemed quite able to put the Ravens away. So Baltimore hung in there, hung tough.

Ultimately, the Ravens ended up with the ball, and a chance to try and tie the game (or possibly win, if they got a touchdown and went for the two-point conversion.

However, KC's was able to hold the Ravens off to preserve the win.

My pick: Accurate
