Any fans of Mark Twain out there?

I thought that this was a really cool and informative article that reveals just how a witty and well known writer became Mark Twain, one of the most defining men of letters in American literature.

I recommend that you read this article, which focuses on Twain's lectures, and the early celebrity status that this granted him. These shows are legendary! Even this day, they are remembered, as one prominent actor, Hal Holbrook, has done an on again off again tour where he has tried to replicate the spirit of these shows.
