That map of changes with European borders over the course of 1,000 years really got me thinking, because it was just such a cool thing to watch.
Not surprisingly, I looked up some others that might be of interest, and again, thought that they definitely deserved to be shared.
So, here are some links to a few other online atlases of sorts, which also illustrate in minutes some sweeping changes in history that actually took a very long time to develop. Some of them even have dramatic music to accompany them
