Beautiful duet. If I remember correctly I actually heard this quite a few years ago, perhaps in the nineties. Further proof as if any were needed that Joan Baez is truly a citizen of the world, which is refreshing in this era of ugly nationalism, insularity and tribal demonization of all that is deemed to be "other". As for Maxime Le Forestier, are you familiar with his music? He's got some great stuff; I could recommend some of his best-known songs if you're interested.
Yes, it is a Yacoub song, and I think that I already knew that. But he was a part of Malicorne, and no small part. And mostly, it is just a great song, interpreted and covered by a couple of great artists, and so was worth posting.
