🏈 NFL Opening Night Review: Defending Champion Bucs Squeak Out Win Over Cowboys in Tampa 🏈

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Super Bowl LV Champions

I did not watch most of the game on Thursday night, because I had to rest and then get ready for my overnight shift.

However, I did get to see most of the second half, and it was a good game.

For much of it, the Bucs seemed like they were in command, and ready to win comfortably. But to their credit, the Cowboys fought and got back into it. In fact, they took the lead with just a couple of minutes or so to play.

Yet, it is Tom Brady on the other side. he has orchestrated more fourth quarter comebacks, surely, than any other quarterback in NFL history. And he did it again, leading Tampa Bay down the field to within striking position of the game winning field goal. Indeed, it split the uprights, lifting the Buccaneers to a narrow win in the season opener to movie to 1-0 on the season, while Dallas falls in their first game of the season.

Good game.

My prediction: Accurate
