⚽️ L'Equipe de France Enjoys Another Solid Second Half Comeback to Win Nation's League Final ⚽️

πŸ†πŸ‡«πŸ‡·  On est les Champions ! πŸ†πŸ‡«πŸ‡·

France and Spain met in the Nation's League Final yesterday.

The first half was largely uneventful,  and neither team scored a goal.

But the second half was another story. Spain's Mikel Oyarzabal broke through with a goal in the 64th minute, ending what had been to that point a scorless tie.

Yet, France responded. Karim Benzema tied it in the 66th minute by scoring the first goal of the game for the defending World Cup champions.

Then, Kylian MbappΓ© broke through for France again in the 80th minute, although not without controversy. The replay seemed to confirm that he was offside, which meant that the goal likely should not have counted.

Still,  it stood.  And it proved to be just enough for France.

France defeated Spain in the Final to become only the second country ever to win the Nation's UEFA League's Cup.

Allez les Bleus!
