🏈 NFL 2021-22 Monday Night Week 4 Review: Raiders Unbeaten No More 🏈

🏈🏈🏈🏈

LA Chargers 28, Las Vegas 14 – And then there was one. Yes, entering this past weekend, there were four teams – Arizona, LA Rams, Denver, and Las Vegas - sporting perfect, unblemished records. After this weekend, there is only one team left, and it is not the Raiders. They lost this game last night to the Chargers.

The Chargers jumped out to a 21-0 lead, which they took into the locker rooms by halftime. The Raiders appeared to be mounting a serious comeback with two touchdowns in the third quarter. But the Chargers iced the game with a 10-play, 58 yard touchdown game that put the game out of reach for the visitors from Las Vegas.

Young, up and coming quarterback Justin Herbert is showing true signs of greatness, becoming the youngest NFL quarterback On the night, Herbert completed 25 of 38 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns, which is quite a night. His favorite target proved to be Jared Cook, who caught 6 balls for 70 yards and a touchdown. Austin Ekeler added 117 yards and another touchdown on 15 carries.

In a losing cause for the Silver and Black, Derek Carr completed 21 of 34 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns, with ne INT. Henry Ruggs IIIhad three receptions for 60 yards. Josh Jacobs led all rushers on the Raiders with 40 yards picked up on 13 carries.

The Chargers outgained the Raiders, 380 yards to 213. They almost doubled the total number of first downs earned, 25 to 13. And they solidly won the time of possession battle, controlling it for the better part of 35 minutes. On top of that, the Chargers committed no turnovers, while the Raiders committed one.

With the win, the Chargers jumped right into a first place tie with the Raiders and the Broncos, although they would win the tiebreak for the moment. Each team is sporting identical 3-1 records, and they are also all one game ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs, who are rather shockingly in last place in the division with a 2-2 mark to this point. Las Vegas will host the Chicago Bears in their next game. Meanwhile, the Chargers have another tough game ahead when they host the Cleveland Browns next weekend.

My pick: Inaccurate
