A few days ago, I posted about Julian Lennon, and how he was going to front a sort of Beatles reunion band, with members of the actual Fab Four and family members of the two who had died.
That, of course, was a joke, a spoof story.
However, Julian Lennon really is getting back to making music. He is working on a new album, and will be releasing new songs as previews in the coming weeks. It will be his seventh album overall, and his first in well over a decade.
No word yet on the title, or the lineup of songs, or a tour to support the album, as of yet. When I saw Lennon a few years ago, before the coronavirus pandemic, he did mention not only wanting to get back to music, but that he and his brother and fellow musician Sean Lennon might try to create some music together, as well. So I am wondering if we will hear some of that material in this new upcoming album.
Time will tell.
