Julian Lennon Agrees to Front Reunion of Beatles

My son and I meeting Julian Lennon at the "Touch the Earth" book signing event on Saturday morning, April 15, 2017. It was a thrill to meet him!

That's right!

The remaining members of the Beatles will unite with the sons of former Beatles members. Specifically, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will unite with Julian Lennon and Dhani Harrison. The members will not call themselves the Beatles, but will refer to themselves by a name which has not yet been determined. For now, according to sources, the name is going under their working title of Apple Road. There are even rumors that Yoko Ono will be a part of the music making process.

McCartney commented, saying, "How could we not capitalize on the stunning success of the Get Back movie last November? People clearly want to hear us and see us. Why not give them that opportunity? Plus, I could use the money, as I'm down to my last billion. So this thing is happening!"

Ringo agreed, then added, "Peace and Love!"

First, the makeshift band will produce a studio album and then, either late in 2022 or later in 2023, they will go on what is expected to be a massive tour to promote the new album. No songs have been released as of yet, and the title of the new album also remains unknown at the time of this writing.

Consensus in the music world has not been reached. Some Beatles fans are thrilled, and feel that this is the closest thing to a real Beatles reunion that they will ever see. Others feel that this musical project actually is disrespecting the legacy of the legendary band.

More word on this still developing story as details emerge.
