Pink Floyd Reunite For One More Song, This One For Ukraine

Now, this was pretty surprising news.

Pink Floyd has reunited - well, sort of - for an antiwar protest song.

The new song is titled "Hey Hey, Rise Up!."

It features longtime members of Pink Floyd, David Gilmour and Nick Mason, as well as long-time Floyd bassist Guy Pratt. Nitin Sawhney plays on keyboards.

Noticeably absent, of course, is Roger Waters, who left the band in the early eighties, and outside of a few isolated times where he reunited with them, he has remained strictly a former member of the band.

Still, it is cool to see them get together at least one more time, even if it is for just one song. Personally, I had long believed that "Endless River" was going to be the last time that we heard any "new" stuff from Pink Floyd.

Glad to be wrong.
